Nutritional deficiency or malnutrition comes in many forms such as Vitamin deficiencies in Iron, Vitamin A, B Vitamins, Vitamin D and Calcium being the most common.

 The cause of nutritional deficiencies is a diet lacking in essential nutrients. The body stores excess nutrients for future use in case of an emergency. A deficiency may take some time to show up as you deplete your reserves. When you finally realize you are deficient, you already have a ton of signs and symptoms.
